Shy Jackson

Shy is a Partner and specialist Construction and Engineering lawyer, providing project advice in relation to buildings and large-scale infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally, having previously worked in Singapore and Israel. He has substantial experience in relation to infrastructure projects and he advises clients on the operation of contracts and the resolution of disputes through negotiation, adjudication, mediation, arbitration and litigation.

 

He has expertise in all major standard forms of contract, including NEC, FIDIC and JCT, and was part of the team that drafted the recent amendments to the NEC form of contract. Shy is a Council member of the Society of Construction Law, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors.

 

Shy's entry in Chambers and Partners 2012 refers to him as "fiercely bright" and states "He is very conscientious, technically and strategically good and a very good litigator.
